Good morning, Redwood City!

Rain, Rain

It's another wet one today, so make sure your umbrella is ready, just in case! And be careful if you're on the road.

But the sky should be clear this evening at the start of Redwood City's 8th annual Oktoberfest, which begins at 5 p.m. on Courthouse Square. Tickets are still available for tonight's event. Friday and Saturday's evening shows are SOLD OUT.

A new pizzeria is coming to Redwood City. State of Mind Public House and Pizzeria will open soon on Florence Street near Freewheel. Their biggest attraction, says their owner, will be their "Almost Famous" fried chicken sandwich.

The city is seeking feedback from the public on the second draft of its housing element after its original draft earlier this year was rejected by the state back in July. The city was the first in the area to submit its draft housing element. It's not unusual for a city's HE to be rejected on the first try, but now the city needs to make some adjustments. Leah has that story for you today.

Have a great day!
