The countdown to the long weekend has officially begun, and it is safe to assume this beautiful photo of the Bair Island Marina has been picked to match the mood.
My favorite part of today's lineup is, counter-intuitively, the pet of the week. It's an adorable Japanese quail. 'Nuff said!
My second favorite part is, of course, the top story. It's a detailed piece by Sue Dremann about a legal tussle between Stanford University and the Alpha Omega Housing Corporation over what the writer of the story refers to as a "beleaguered" situation involving a storied fraternity named after the Greek letters Σ and Χ.
