Another deluge
I can normally sleep through just about anything, but last night I was woken up by the heavy downpour and howling winds. I’ve lived in the Bay Area long enough to remember that time (early 2000s?) when we had rain for an entire month. But still… this is really something.
Many of you are without power, or recently had it restored. (As of this morning, more than 19,000 customers on the Peninsula were experiencing an outage.) Others are dealing with severe flooding, fallen branches and tricky road conditions.
In fact, just last night the Redwood City Council voted unanimously to issue a local emergency proclamation. More on that to come.
