Good Morning Redwood City,

This is reporter and editorial intern Donovan Growney signing on for my second-ever newsletter. I hope you’re having a terrific Wednesday! New and exciting events are on the way for Redwood City.

The Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation will begin holding open houses for the annual art exhibit at the CZI Community Space on Jefferson Avenue. While the exhibit is not fully open to the public, there are open house days where the public is invited to attend. The next open house events occur on Aug. 2, Sept. 6 and Oct. 4.

On July 29, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Health and Harmony Festival will be held in Courthouse Square. The event will feature live music from the “Pop Rocks” band, Zumba activities, and an interactive “Kids Zone.” There will also be special prizes for attendees.

Have you ever noticed a problem with long wait times or even malfunctions with the Redwood City railroad crossing arms? Have those malfunctions affected your commute or even caused you other traffic disruptions? Let me know! Please get in touch with me at dgrowney@embarcaderopublishing.com and explain what happened!

And finally, a big THANK  YOU to Cathy Baird, who took this lovely landscape photo of Redwood City from Edgewood Park. If you have a photo you want to share with us, email us at editor@rwcpulse.com. Remember to include a caption.
