On November 27th, 2022, Christine Kenny passed away and was reunited with her husband, James Donald Kenny.
Chris is survived by her sons Jim, John, Jeff, and Joe; Daughters-in-law Jenell, Lekhini and Kristen; Grandchildren Cheyene, Kelsey, Elizabeth, Aadi, Isla, Maisie, and Aari; Great grandson, Liam; and Cousin Pam Sanchez.
During her 55 years in San Mateo County, Chris was very active in the community and within the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish. Chris’ giving of her time, energy, effort and resources spanned seven decades including a long nursing career, grief group counselor, CHP Senior Volunteer, mentor and friend to many.
Services for Chris will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Redwood City on December 12th. There will be a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following, Chris will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven cemetery in Los Altos.
