Good morning friends!

We made it through our first day! And I want to thank you for the calls, emails, messages and shares on social media. I read every single one of them.

One of my favorite things about going to a new city is getting to explore and see everything for the first time. And I've been doing that in Redwood City lately. A few weeks ago, I visited the San Mateo County History Museum, and I got to tour (thank you, Mitch!) everything the museum has to offer. While I was browsing the transportation exhibit and learning about how people in San Mateo County used to commute to work, I realized how lucky we all are. The museum is in the center of town and everything happens around it. All of San Mateo County's history is right there in Redwood City.

So I've decided that the Redwood City Pulse is going to explore some of that history. In the next few weeks, I hope to bring on some bloggers to help me get new perspectives on Redwood City's history, culture and people. If you want to blog for the Pulse, email me at editor@rwcpulse.com.

But in the meantime, I hope you keep coming back to our site and I hope you keep sharing your feedback.

Signing off,

Michelle
