Good morning Redwood City,

I hope you had a great holiday weekend, and if you worked, well, I hope you find some time to take a break and rest.

It's a big week for the much-anticipated Makerspace in the library. Last week, the city issued a proclamation celebrating the Makerspace, which is scheduled to open this winter in 2022.  Redwood City Library Foundation Executive Director Lisa Hicks-Dumanske was at the virtual council meeting to accept the proclamation. And on Tuesday, the Library Foundation is hosting a sneak preview, complete with exhibits and tours, for guests to see all the work that has been done so far. RSVP here. A donation of $20 is suggested.

We have a fantastic week planned for you, so stick around.

And as always, send me an email if you have comments. I do my best to respond to everyone, so please feel free to ping me again if you haven't heard back from me.

Signing off,

Michelle
