Good morning, Redwood City,
Today is day two of Redwood City School District's county-wide vaccination clinic. In November, hundreds of kids (and parents) showed up at Hoover Community School for their first dose—this afternoon they return for their second.
If you missed the first event, good news! The district just announced that they will host a second vaccination clinic in late January with second doses scheduled for February. More information will be released soon, and all families within the county are invited to sign up.
For those—like me—who like a enjoy mystery and intrigue, you might want to check out our crime blogger, Douglas MacGowan. In today's post, he writes about "the most expensive and complicated trial in the history of San Mateo County." I'm sold.
Lastly, we have a Meet the Editors event coming up next Thursday. Come out to share your thoughts and ideas, ask us questions or simply stop by (virtually) get to know us a little better. Free registration here.
Hope to see you there!
Signing off,
Leah
