Good morning Redwood City!
It's another chilly and cloudy day here in the Bay. Expect more of the same throughout the week and through the weekend.
This Monday, the Redwood City Council got its first glimpse at draft redistricting maps, including two recommended by the advisory redistricting committee in November. Have you seen them? Will your neighborhood stay intact, or will you be separated into multiple districts? Check out the maps here.
And today, the Pulse releases the second part of our series on redevelopment in the North Fair Oaks community. Neighbors there are fed up with developer TJ Homes, which has purchased half a dozen properties, torn down the existing houses and built larger, more expensive ones in their place. The firm has also proposed the removal of 12 trees, of which three are protected, and has preserved 17, with the intention of planting 14 new ones. More on that here.
For a refresher on Part 1, go here.
