What a lovely day!
Health officials in San Mateo County are acknowledging that the COVID-19 situation is challenging, but they are reassuring the public that it's manageable. Hospitals have not yet reached capacity, they said. To help folks who are looking for testing, the county will be providing 50,000 at-home antigen test kits to low-income families with young children, medically vulnerable residents and workers in care settings.
Yesterday, Redwood City Mayor Giselle Hale announced that she's throwing her hat in the ring for California State Assembly. Read more on that here.
A long-awaited bike boulevard is coming to Redwood City. We'll have more on that later today!
