Good morning, Redwood City,
Have you ever seen little boxes in front of houses or at parks that are filled with books? Have you wondered who puts the books inside them? Well, we spoke to a very dedicated volunteer who runs around the Bay Area and works with the Redwood City park director, Chris Beth, to fill these Little Free Libraries.
Next month, the Redwood City Council plans to hold a public hearing on whether to spend about $1.3 million to help San Mateo County with upgrades on the planned purchase of the Comfort Inn. The public hearing is on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m.
Don't forget to tune in to tonight's city council meeting. The city will hear public testimony on the redistricting process and receive a report on two draft maps from the Advisory Redistricting Committee.
