Two San Mateo County Sheriff Candidate forums are scheduled in the coming months ahead of the June 7 primary election.
The Redwood City Woman's Club is hosting a San Mateo County Candidate Forum on April 27.
San Mateo County Sheriff Carlos Bolanos will go head-to-head against Capt. Christina Corpus. The in-person candidate forum will take place at the Woman's Club on Wednesday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women's Voters of South San Mateo County. Audience members are encouraged to submit questions during the event and there will not be one specific topic for the forum, according to a spokesperson. Both candidates will have an opportunity to answer the questions. Details for a live stream are currently being arranged, a spokesperson told the Pulse. The Woman's Club is located at 149 Clinton St.
On Thursday, May 12, Thrive Alliance, in partnership with other nonprofits, is hosting a Sheriff Candidate Forum on Zoom with Spanish interpretation and a live transcript. A spokesperson for Thrive Alliance could not be reached for comment. To register for the candidate forum, click here.
