Board notes
The County Board of Supervisors has their bimonthly meeting this morning (tune in live here), and on the agenda are two things of note:
- Adopt a resolution to support Senate Bill 893. The bill would give students in the San Mateo County Community College District access to free or reduced tuition. (You can read about the letter that the North Fair Oaks Community Council wrote to the Board in favor of it.)
- Update on damaged PPE. This situation continues to evolve as more details come out. I'll be interested to see what we learn during today's meeting.
Art for the people
Last night, artists from around the county gathered for an inaugural exhibit at the new CZI Community Space in downtown Redwood City. On display were works created by seven artists, included Jose Castro, a North Fair Oaks native. Were you there? We'd love to hear what you thought about the new space.
