Good morning, Redwood City!
Walk much?
San Mateo County wants to make North Fair Oaks more pedestrian and bike friendly. In addition to a new railroad crossing over the Caltrain tracks, the county is also considering some other improvements to local streets.
And the organizers want to hear from you! How do you get around? What concerns do you have walking/biking in North Fair Oaks?
Fill out the survey by tomorrow—Friday, July 8—to be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift. There will also be a pop-up event tomorrow from 10:30am-1:30pm at St. Anthony's Dining Hall on Middlefield. For more info, click here.
Weekend activities
Don’t forget that today is the first day of the BraveMaker Film Festival, which will be hosting events throughout downtown Redwood City thru Sunday. Want to learn more? Meet the founder and brains behind the operation: Tony Gapastione. (He shared some stories and favorite films from the upcoming fest, too.)
Art on the Square is also hosting a “jewelry only” show at Courthouse Square tomorrow. Stop by the plaza anytime after 5 p.m. to check out their wares. More details here.
And thanks to everyone who has shared feedback with us in recent weeks. We love to hear from you, and our inboxes are always open!
Enjoy your Thursday,
Leah
