A regional reboot

We locals are aware of all that our region has to offer. From forest trails to epic coastlines, music venues to renowned restaurants, the Peninsula is full of places to explore. But to tourists, San Mateo County doesn’t have quite the cachet as, say, San Francisco.

The problem, according to the leaders of a local nonprofit? Branding.

Newly re-christened as “The San Francisco Peninsula,” the local convention and tourism bureau has, for over 50 years, worked to bring business and leisure travel to the Peninsula.
