I hope everyone has managed to stay cool this week! I'm not a meteorologist, but the National Weather Service forecast looks to be calling for milder temps next week. That could change, so we will see how this all plays out. Fingers crossed.
We're about two months out from Election Day. We've compiled a list of upcoming candidate forums. As we hear more, we will continue to add them to our list. Our upcoming forum includes candidates from districts 2, 5 and 6 and takes place on Monday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. More details to come.
If you're around this weekend, be sure to catch the Egyptian Festival on Saturday or Sunday. It takes place between 11-8 p.m. on Saturday and 12- 6 p.m. on Sunday.
