New Park at the Library
As the downtown parks project gets underway, Sen. Josh Becker will present a check to Redwood City officials on Monday at the city council meeting. It's a big check –$4.45 million– for a big project. City officials sought community input through study sessions with public comment and a survey. The park will include a "plaza, a children's play space, a water feature, public art, as well as a lawn and garden area," according to officials. It's a lot, and some argue it takes much-needed parking away from the library. What do you think?
Thanksgiving is upon us
Have you cleaned your fridge, made your casseroles, bought your pies or baked them yourself? What about your stuffing? Do you prepare ahead of time, or do you wait until Thanksgiving to get started on all the cooking? I'm not brave enough to cook everything on the day. In fact, I gave up and let Omaha Steaks take over and cook everything.
