Happy Winter Solstice, Redwood City!
Today is the shortest day of the year, or the longest night of the year, depending on how you want to see it. Daylight length: 9 hours, 28 minutes
End of an Era
Today is also the beginning of the end of Bethlehem A.D. The 30-year tradition will close this week with three shows starting tonight at 6 p.m. going through Friday. Friday is the the FINAL show ever. The nativity scene takes place near Rise City Church at 1300 Middlefield Rd. It's a 20-minute walk through the town of Bethlehem. It's free. Rain or Shine! Don't miss it.
Hamster News
Did you hear? There's a new newspaper in town. The editor in chief has a nose for news and he doesn't let the authorities push him around. His name is Milo Kittock, he lives in North Fair Oaks and he's 12 years old. And boy is he giving me a run for my money. I encourage you to subscribe if you live in his neighborhood.
