February 6, 1935 – January 25, 2023

Marlene (Molly) Rossi passed away peacefully in her sleep January 25, 2023. Molly was born in Riverside, CA but throughout her young life she lived in 25+ different states across the US moving every few years as her father went from one large scale construction project to another as they were completed. Molly finally settled in San Carlos, CA after marrying the love of her life, Sam Rossi.

She loved traveling, hunting for garage sale bargains, going to the movies and volunteering her time and energy to several community organization like her kids schools, IHM Parish, the Chickens Ball, San Carlos Museum, Allied Arts and the Family Tree thrift store to name just a few. Molly is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Sam Rossi and her son-in-law, Rick Cripe. She's survived by her children, Debbie Cartwright, Patti Cripe (Rick), Sue Hoag (Scott), Sam Rossi, Jr. (Jaci) and Joe Rossi (Maria). She's also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Molly's gift to see the good in everyone will be missed but her habit of being late for everything will not! Please honor Molly's life by doing something kind for another and in lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the San Carlos History Museum. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 9th at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church-Belmont, with a reception to follow.
