On Saturday, San Mateo County History Museum presented its third annual “Happy San Mateo County Day." There was live music, children's crafts, local street vendors and free museum admission to celebrate the County’s birthday which occurred on May 12, 1856, 167 years ago.
The Redwood City 4th of July Parade, Northern California's largest, is less than two months away. This year, actress Linda Cardellini will be Grand Marshal in the parade! Read more here.

Stop by Courthouse Square to see Mi Hogar, Mi Amor, Mi Vida (My Home, My Love, My Life) by artist Eric Lopez. Meant to highlight the beauty that Eric’s hometown represents, the two 7’ by 8’ paintings represent the juxtaposition that makes Redwood City so unique in his eyes. This installation will be on display in the Art Kiosk (2208 Broadway St., Redwood City) through June 18, 2023.
