Good morning! There's quite a few celebrations coming up in Redwood City. Here's what you should know.
Redwood City is having its very own pride celebration tomorrow at Courthouse Square!
Kick off pride month with fun activities and LGBTQ resources. Attendees will hear remarks from Major Gee and Dana Johnson from the LGBTQ Commission and see the raising of a pride flag. There will be a showing of the movie Kinky Boots. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.
And, the San Mateo County Fair is back! Come out to enjoy concerts, carnival fun and more June 3 – June 11. More information here.
Don't forget to mark your calendar for Redwood City's 4th of July Parade, Northern California's largest. This year, actress Linda Cardellini will be Grand Marshal in the parade! If you'd like to participate in the parade, or have an idea for a fun and entertaining parade or festival entry, email the parade committee here. The committee has grants available for first time float builders.
