June is pride month and Redwood City is hosting its very own celebration this evening!
The pride celebration is tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Courthouse Square. Kick off pride month with fun activities and LGBTQ resources. Attendees will hear remarks from Major Gee and Dana Johnson from the LGBTQ Commission and see the raising of a pride flag. There will be a showing of the movie Kinky Boots.
And, mark your calendar for San Mateo County's pride parade and "Free to Be Me in 2023" celebration on Saturday, June 10. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and lead to a festival in San Mateo Central Park. There will be live entertainment, a live DJ, resource and vendor booths, family friendly activities and more in San Mateo Central Park.
San Mateo County Pride and Redwood City Pride are both free and open to the public.
