The San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society is hosting a sunset walking tour around the marshlands of Bair Island tomorrow. While strolling the trail, participants will learn the marsh's ecosystem and view wildlife in the area. The one hour event begins at 7 p.m. More information here

Join San Mateo County Democracy for America on Wednesday to hear from San Mateo County Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commissioner Paul Bocanegra. He will speak about local programs that prevent youth entry into the juvenile justice system and provide tools for young people to succeed. Join the virtual event at 7 p.m. using this link

This week, the Palo Alto Public Art Program is hosting a Murals Festival on California Avenue. Mural artists Olivia Losee-Unger, Paz de la Calzada, and Nicole Ponsler will paint vibrant temporary murals in the California Avenue District. Members of the public will have the opportunity to sign up to help paint one of the murals to reflect the diversity of local businesses, residents, and artists. Mural painting will take place on June 1-9, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Also, Redwood City's summer movie series is back! Watch free movies at 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings at Courthouse Square starting this week.
